Classic Finishes LLC

I called Classic Finishes because we needed help with finishing a first floor painting project after a bad experience. They came in with a four man crew and completed it in two days with absolute perfection. I will use Classic Finishes for all my painting needs!

This a long overdue review from my painting project of late June-early July 2023. I truly cannot say enough praise over my amazing experience working with Classic Finishes LLC! From Bob, the likable, truthful estimator to Conor the paint prepper of masking and taping (sooo meticulous and careful) to Thomas who did the final painting job, they are the best contractors I have ever used in my 1961-year-old house which I have owned for 30 years! I've had to do a number of remodeling jobs over the years! Having Peter do the excellent job of extremely correct placement of the drawer pulls, hinge ware, etc was a final touch of accuracy that I had so hoped for. Evan, the Owner, also came to check on all end product finishes, which was also much appreciated. He, too, was very conscientious in assuring that all was done right by inspecting my doors and drawers. I had read many reviews, hunted for a company for months that would give me new doors and drawers to replace my old medium oak stained 1970-early 80s custom-built kitchen cabinets. I purposefully choose to not go the veneer overlay gluing route due to the bad reviews I read. How very, very pleased I am that I went w/ this company to give me the 3 layers of paint coating to cover much of my grossly grainy red oak boxes. I actually like that a tiny bit of grain shows through my "Distant Gray" (nearly white) Benjamin Moore color choice. The finish is sooo wipeable to spills, etc. In final, I am so glad I kept my cabinet boxes, and my same open-ended galley kitchen layout. Classic Finishes LLC provided me a great outcome, value, and exceptional service. The Team worked long days in my case, some 8-12 hours/days to get it all done in those 4 intense days, which I sooo appreciated! I am not getting paid any $ kick-back to write this review; I just feel very strongly about the happiness I have over the final look the company gave me!

We were in the middle of building our new home and wanted the white oak island stained black. The builder was uncomfortable doing that and did not think they could accomplish this so in somewhat of a panic I called Classic finishes and spoke to Evan at length about what I was looking for. He assured me that they could do it and they did! I worked with Bob and he did several samples and found the product that would give me the look I wanted, black but with the grain still visible. Their work ethic and commitment to excellence is refreshing to say the least. Our entire experience with this company was wonderful and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Evan, Bob, and Leandro for a beautiful job.

I was very pleased with the way Classic Finishes treated me as a customer. A project manager came to my home twice, once to discuss the project and make recommendations, and a second time to do a walk thru with the painters to make sure they understood my expectations. It was a four day project for three painters. They did a beautiful job, prepping, painting, and cleaning up. It was a great experience, as home improvement projects go.

I am blown away by Classic Finishes. As we realized we bit of more than we can chew in listing our home, I went onto google maps and looked at companies and their reviews. Classic Finishes had a fantastic review background, professional responses, and was local. I reached out via maps and heard back from them almost instantly. We were in a very tight timeline and not only did they meet us where we were and get everything handled immediately, they didn't make me feel bad for being such a short turnaround, and didn't upcharge me either in my time of need. They were very open about costs, allowed you to pick and choose according to your budget, and had incredible guidance on what they'd suggest for a home about to be listed. Their communication was impeccable, their professionalism amazing, and before we even saw the finish job we knew we wanted to hire them again for our new home. I cannot say enough good things about this crew, their efficiency, and their attention to detail. They have a customer for life!

There are not enough superlatives to cover the quality Classic brought to my home. Knowledgeable, great customer relationship skills. Numerous times I heard Paul what else can we do for you? They transformed my home with their quality work.

I had two major painting jobs. Refinishing the kitchen cabinets and painting most of the interior of a 4 bedroom home. I chose classic finishes to do the kitchen cabinets they did a fantastic job clean neat very professional I could not have asked for anything better. Unfortunately I did not have them do the rest of my house I contract at that out through five star painting and everything went bad. I highly recommend classic finishes. I only wish I had used them to do all my work.
