Buying a house in Florida with a mortgage in a flood zone requires mandatory flood insurance. I contacted multiple companies requesting a quote. Every single one of them came back with quotes exorbitantly high. The only exception was 'Your Flood Nerds', not only were reasonable and responded in a timely manner but the lowest I found and still met FEMA standards. Don't be put off by their name. Do your own research and you will probably find 'Your Flood Nerds' as the one you will sign with. Will be keeping them as my agents. I highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure dealing with Caleb at Better Flood Insurance. He was very professional and polite. He answered all my questions and had everything done in a timely fashion. Most importantly he helped cut down my flood insurance cost and escape FEMA's absurd price rates!
