I'm coming up on the end of my 2nd year with my solar system. The end of year one I had a 1500 KWh surplus so my annual PG&E electricity bill was a credit. Since PG&E only pays about three cents a KWh and putting in the system was to offset my electricity costs, I used my A/C more and turned on the extra fridge in the garage. Coming up on the end of year two it looks like I will still have a 600-800 KWh surplus. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the system. At this rate the after tax credit cost of the system will pay for itself in just under four years. This will save me thousands in electricity costs years 5 thru 20 to 25. Whenever I talk to family or friends about solar I highly recommend Five Star Solar. Not only does the system perform well, working with the Five Star Solar team prior to committing they answered all of my questions and gave me an extremely competitive price on the system. The installation team was quick, efficient and clean. When I look at other solar installations in my neighborhood I see lots of conduit pipe running across their roofs and along their walls. The Five Star installation team hid almost all of the pipe on my system in the attic and under the eves so there is almost no exposed pipe. There are no pipes running across my roof. They did a fantastic job! Overall I couldn't be more satisfied choosing Five Star Solar for my solar system, I highly recommend them. Gregg C
