Almost 20 years ago, Houston Gym opened as an alternative to big, impersonal fitness centers with staffs of high-pressure salespeople. We built a facility that boasts NEW state-of -the-art equipment, yet retains the casual feel of a neighborhood gym. I have played 2 professional sports and have seen and been a member at a lot gyms. This was one of my favorite spots. Staff was extremely great. The gym is very clean. They have all top notch machines and free weights for 2 gyms. Great atmosphere. When i am in Houston again I will be back to Houston Gym!!

I've been a member of Houston Gym for about 6 months or so now and couldn't be happier. I signed up as part of a weight loss program which allowed me to meet and work with a couple of different trainers. These trainers, as well as all of the other staff I have encountered, have been friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and always willing to help. I'm working one-on-one with my trainer, Darrell, now and he has so far exceeded every expectation I had. The facilities are always clean and the equipment all seems in good order. While not a 24-hour gym, their operating hours fit my schedule. I would highly recommend Houston Gym to anyone looking for a new place to work hard and achieve their fitness goals.

Great gym and great employees. Big John is my trainer and he is the best. He has me excited about working out and is flexible to work with my schedule. He pushes me, motivates me to eat right and checks in to make sure I'm following the plan. I've never experienced that type of follow thru and diligence in helping me achieve my fitness goals.

My experience was great . The staff is amazing . If I didn’t work overseas so often I would make Houston Gym my own . Loved the atmosphere .
