I love the providers and medical staff, with a shout out to Peter Keorpes the PA. First provider I saw there and excellent. Found & diagnosed my squamous cell immediately. Great bed side manner! I saw Dr. Troiani, Dr. Lapinski and Dr. Rios-they were all wonderful as well! The problem is on the front end, the appt desk cancelled my appointment, but never called me and I took off work early that day to find the building empty. I was not the only one as I pulled over to park and call the answering service, I saw another woman do the same thing. Going forward I had to schedule and reschedule to work around their availability and my own. The 2nd time I called I explained to 2 different girls I was rebooking after they canceled my appt without telling me, not once did any of them say 'Oh I'm sorry that happened' and they were just rude or had no social skills. When I said 'never mind I will just cancel and go somewhere else' She perked up and said 'Oh ok I cancel it for you' Really? These are the people that represent your first and last impression of your facility. They need a lesson in customer service much less working with patients, as you never know what someone could be going through. I attempted to call a manager, but besides for the front desk there was no where to leave a msg except for the nurses station, in which I did not want to do as they are busy with real issues. However I did, just to have my msg relayed. The phone system will take you in a loop, whenever you try to go outside of the desk-very aggravating in itself. However, to my surprise they relayed the msg quickly, as busy as they can be I was impressed. Later someone called and now I cant remember her name, that supposedly was in charge. It came from some # outside of the state exchange but had left a msg while I was working on my lawn. Luckily I happened to see this only a few minutes after it was left. It was the same thing, no phone number or extension was left and I called the nurses station back within a minute or two from the call, but it was too late, however I did leave a msg for her that I had called back and Monday would be fine. The person did say they were leaving early that day and that if I should miss her she would call me back on Monday. Well I thought that was reasonable so I waited as not to bother someone early on a Monday morning. Never got a call back and this was over 2 month's ago. Apparently 'out of site out of mind' She wasn't going to bother. Its always a shame for great providers that are managed by a large group and dont have a say in who represents them. I'm sure this was not the first time nor the last, if it dosen't start at the top I guess you can expect no less from the front staff. Signed, Really disappointed-loved the professionals.
