We have had our solar panels for 2 years and we have no problem to speak of.

Great experience overall. Sales rep presented the material in a very clear way and was able to explain every part of the process to us. He also did not come across as pushing for a sale and it was easy to talk to him as a result. Install was incredibly quick and during the time frame they had estimated (about a 4 month lead time on install). Due to increased efficiency in our power usage (installed Central A/C to replace multiple old wall/window units, swapped out all bulbs for LEDs) we surpassed their projections of generating 80% of our own power and actually have run a surplus/credit on our electric bill for every month except for 2 in the past 2 1/2 years. Only minor issues I had were that the breakers they installed were tripping a few times in the early summer months which shut the panels off. As I wasn't monitoring the panels on a daily basis, it was 2 weeks before I realized that the breaker tripped and I wasn't generating any solar. Happened a couple more times before I reported it and RGS came back installed new breakers - have not had it happen again since they swapped out the breakers. Other minor issue was the explanation of the SRECs. My impression was that they came directly from our electric supplier. Reached out to sales rep for clarification and he relayed additional information we needed to set up the SREC sales through a 3rd party. The SREC information presented at time of sale/install, lacked the additional info regarding signing with a 3rd party that auctions/sells off our SRECs for us, but as soon as I reached out regarding that issue, it was immediately addressed. Great overall experience with RGS.

From my first inquiry through the installation, Real Goods Solar provided friendly, informative and timely service. I was very impressed with the level of detail provided as well as the quality of the work. Our system has worked flawlessly.

RGS installed my solar panels and the experience was A-1. The installers were professional and did a great job. No complaints from us on this experience. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing.

During the installation process they were efficient, knowledgeable, clean and went above and beyond what I expected. They gave extra time and thought to make sure the project turned out well. After installation, they have followed up to make sure things are going smoothly. When unbeknownst to me the system was off-line - they called, and came quickly to resolve the problem, which turned out to be minor. Extremely pleased with the production and service.

Almost 4 years ago RGS installed a 4.5kw system. In October 2017 the saving from these panels will have fully repaid net cost. Great estimates and quality installation are impressive. And RGS will be around to support me in the future.

Very professional installation. No conduits showing. Output more than exceeded my expectations. Was kept up to date throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend them for your solar panel installation.

My system was installed almost 3 years ago. All of my interactions with RGS were positive. This includes sales, installation and maintenance. All are helpful and friendly. The only issues were initial delays, but that was the fault of the leasing company.

Could not be happier!

I've had my solar array installation for a little over 3 years now. RGS has stood by the install after one of the components went bad. The worked with the inverter company to order a new unit and installed it the next week. They also made good on their workmanship warranty and replaced a clip that had come off. I would highly recommend RGS Energy.
