48 Hour Monogram began as an idea out of a home garage. Jen was 8 months pregnant and had been laid off from her full-time job. Her husband, Keith, was working (and traveling A LOT) as a mechanical engineer for an American Fortune 500 corporation. Keith had designed a machine for cutting wood and it was collecting dust in their garage, so Jen began to dream up ways to put it to use. She decided to start cutting alphabet letters to sell on Etsy as nursery room décor. And so, the first product idea for 48 Hour Monogram was born.
