I have now order two custom saddles from Allegany. I am thrilled with both. My horses gait more easily and I feel comfortable and secure. Stacy and Melinda made the process easy and were quite patient with the multiple phone calls and emails about choices.

The folks at Allegany Saddles helped me through the process and made recommendations based on their experience and expertise that was spot on. I've received a beautiful, quality saddle that fits both me and my horses with all the right features for my style of riding. I'm a very satisfied customer and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, good quality custom-made saddle. The folks at Allegany Saddles really went the extra mile in seeking the perfect fit for my big QH mare. Their process of sending tree forms and requesting photos is very reassuring, because I could see exactly how the saddle would fit Maggie before it was made. Their experienced 'eye' and insistence on sending yet one more form made all of the difference between a good-enough fit and a really great fit for my horse. My saddle places my seat and my legs in the right position - my nagging knee pain on trail rides is gone! Additionally, the quality of leather and craftsmanship is really excellent. I have had a variety of other saddles, and my Allegany saddle has been worth everything I paid, and more. You will never regret making this choice!

I will post a letter of appreciation to Staci and Melinda on their website. These ladies are A++. They are professional and absolutely know their saddle building art. Staci and Melinda (and their artisan saddle builder(s) ) made a perfect-fit, gorgeous Western Trail saddle for my short-backed, no-withered Rocky Mountain mare. It is perfect. Well worth waiting for and worth every penny. We love it. Now, can they make it stop raining so we can ride??!!!

Hard to fit 16.3 hands, off track Standardbred. Had a few saddle fitters try to make a comfortable saddle for me and my horse but they failed. Allegany Saddles came out, took their time and measured the total horse and asked about my riding styles. They took into consideration the muscle tone, confirmation and level of his future exercise. Received the best saddle I have ever had.
