A key member of the practice, expert periodontist Dr. Michael Chau handles oral surgery, including dental implants, wisdom-tooth extraction, and treatment for periodontitis. You can choose from local anesthesia or nitrous oxide for any of their procedures.

Dr. Caunitz has been in private practice in New York City since 1991. She is a proud member of the American Association of Women Dentists and the American Dental Association. She also belongs to National Integrated Health Associates and the New York County Dental Society. She and her husband are Manhattan residents. They have two sons and a daughter.
