Beautiful Place, beautiful staff! The surrounding outside the resort are a bit drab or just undeveloped, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The facility itself is wonderful!!

What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!! Our family of four enjoyed every aspect of Casa Tara: dining, daily yoga and sitting by the pool. The peaceful retreat was just what we needed before heading back to reality. The staff was so helpful and friendly- they truly cared about your stay and their attention to all the small details made it very special. We cannot wait to return and have been spreading our praise around Portland and our community our in the Gorge.

Immediately upon entering Casa Tara, you feel like family. The staff are incredibly accommodating, approachable, and kind. The space itself is clearly built with intention and love. It is breathtakingly beautiful. The calm, rejuvenating energy is palpable. You will leave feeling changed and returned to yourself. I can't wait to go back again and again!

Everything great. You might want to consider no smoking policy around whole grounds. We ate dinner in the restaurant the first night and two or theee people were smoking at other tables. Even if outside it make it very unpleasant. We decided to eat elsewhere after that.

I love every minute I spend at Casa Tara! The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and very thoughtfully stocked (natural soap, shampoo and conditioner!), the location is quiet and warm with a private beach, the food is delicious and obviously freshly made every day, and the general vibes of the hotel are laid back but very high end. I walked barefoot around the property my entire stay but I also felt comfortable dressing up if I felt like it. I'm going back to Casa Tara for my third time this June and I can't wait!
