This is a high quality product and the workers were great. But we had serious issues with the managers and ended up with a dangerous snowfall problem that no one at Classic Metal Roofs would deal with. In March 2017, after a snowstorm, a large amount of snow fell on our car in the driveway, smashing the windshield and denting the fender and hood so badly that they had to be replaced. The cost: more than 4k in repairs. We sent an email to Bryan Rusch, a salesperson, who forwarded our message to Mike Gonet, a manager and senior partner. But we never heard from Mike. I emailed Byran and Mike several more times. Then I called and left messages for Mike--many times. Finally, a full year later, in March 2018, they sent three workers, who put up two snow breaks in the problem spot. But that winter snow continued to fall from this same spot. Since we'd had so many problems getting Classic Metal Roofs to respond, I decided to try to park the car at the very back of the driveway. But I was worried about my family and others getting hurt since the snow fell right where we and others passed when entering and exiting the house. And if we had more than one car in the driveway, we couldn't park out of this path. For some time, we adverted a second accident. Then, in 2021, on an early February morning after a large snowstorm, snow fell again and damaged our new Rav 4 Hybrid. I emailed Bryan Rusch again, who forwarded my message to Mike. The cycle of me emailing and calling and receiving complete silence in return started all over again and went on for months. I was not only discouraged but felt disrespected and completely ignored. And our problem was not only about property damage. It was dangerous and could have seriously injured someone or worse. Finally, I hired another roofer who came out two days ago, looked at the problem area, and said that a different kind of snow break was needed--a bar placed above the gutter and a kind of metal guard placed on the far edge of the gutter. He did this, at my expense, of course. It's August now and I can't say whether this will solve our problem. But it was great to have an expert come out, look at our roof, and do his best to fix the issue. That's more than Classic Metal Roofs ever did in our case. I'll add that we never had this problem with our asphalt roof. While some snow would fall from it, it was never enough to be dangerous. I love our metal roof. It should last a long time and it's more sustainable and better for the environment than other products. But this company failed to do their job, solve a problem with their product, and protect me and my family. I would definitely not recommend them.
