It used to be that folks knew their mechanic, insurance agent, banker, doctor, etc. on a first-name basis and could actually recognize them at a chance meeting. Well, with our fast-paced online world, we seem to have lost those relationships to a certain degree. So, here is my attempt to change that trend. I’m Reid Mitchell. I have been in the Mortgage industry for more than 25 years and in the Real Estate industry for more than 31 years. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in Finance. Sammie, my wife of 27 years, is an entrepreneur in the embroidery/image business. I have two children; one is a graduate of UT, married and is a Registered Dietician in Fort Worth. My second child is a graduate of OSU and is a self-employed Landman in Dallas. When I am not “in the saddle” working on mortgage loans, my time is usually spent immersed in my hobbies; farming, antique tractors and cattle. I enjoy reading non-fiction and am an avid student of the Mortgage and Real Estate industry. Sammie and I also have a small vineyard of Tempranillo grapes that we enjoy together. Throughout my career in the mortgage business, I have been a mortgage banker. Today’s mortgage environment is sometimes tough to sift through with all the different regulations and changes. Being a mortgage banker allows greater control over and stability of your real estate transaction. My life has been blessed by all of the people over the last 25 years who have allowed me the privilege to work for them on their mortgage loan. Thank you for the opportunity to try to win your mortgage business. Sincerely, Reid Equal Housing Lender | NMLS 445312 https://gocolonial.com/Privacy-Policy
