The program worked better than I expected,I wasn't thinking it was going to be a "silver bullet" and I would wake up with no cravings, but it was almost that exact experience for me. (my wife agrees with that description, and was not as optimistic as I was going in). The life style changes (diet-the foods I eat post treatments, the movement during treatment, and the counseling before, during & after) all combined to completely change my life. The medicine used on the I V drips definitely works and took the cravings and hard part out of quitting. The rest was mindset and following thru with what I had been taught. I went thru the program in June of 2017and have been sober (no alcohol or drugs) ever since I started in June 2017. Counseling, personal fitness trainer, dietitian, all the services provided, and the drug I V drip are expensive - but I feel are a great value when compared to drinking and the side effects it causes (bad relationships with family members, bad effects on health and the cost of drinking in excess every day 365 days a year. Not to mention the risks a person exposes themselves to.) All that considered it is a very good value. I was fortunate and quit before something bad happened, some aren't that lucky.
