Initially thought this was gonna be a simple and great service they quoted me about 20 minutes And $30 to change the locks, for total of 125 if they had to do lock out service and rekey. I called back after arriving to the property and realizing I did not need a lock out service and they quoted me $50 to Rekey And say that the previous 30 was due to the discount for multiple services. Approximately 20 minutes later he still had not arrived I reached out to the locksmith that stated he was coming directly and I told him I would need to do a second lock, he stated he was at the hardware store Picking up the initial lock so he would pick up the second. 30 Minutes later still no show at that point I send a message letting him know I'm running very late and to just cancel as I intended to go by the lock and replace myself. Please note the only reason I initially called the locksmith was because of the potential lockout service once it was scheduled I figured we would go forward and pay them for the lock since they were already on their way instead of canceling initially but at this point I'm more than an hour waiting for the gentleman. He stated to please wait for him he was only 7 minutes away and that he would get me when he got here due to my waiting time. So I proceeded to wait for him period he arrives at the property he went to the initial for a store change the locks less than 10 minutes but never change the hardware on the door when I went to lock the door to test it as he was changing the other door I realized the hardness on the door frame did not match so the door would not lock, I fixed it and then I asked him for the original hardware that came for the door so I can add a second to reinforce the lock period at this point he was changing the second block he said he would take care of it and made me basically wait until he was done changing the second block only to discover that he put the outside part of the lock with the key entry in the interior and the nod part on the exterior which defeats the purpose of a deadbolt and mind you this is supposed to be an expert. Nevertheless all got done we go over I asked him for payment methods and for an invoice and he hands me an invoice for a $170 almost doubled the quoted price I was provided, I explained that I was quoted by his office and as such I would dispute with them directly period after calling the office and going back and forth we reached a resolution I paid them directly and when to pull out he Waved me down and I stated to him I already paid your office directly you're welcome to reach out to confirm at that point I guess he called the office because he was on the phone and went to pull out as I was parked and he pulled out he literally gave me the finger laughing. Not sure what circus they got this fool out of but save yourself time and energy and use a reliable and professional company
