Dear Doc called my personal cell phone (I don't know how they got my personal phone number) and said they were from Amazon Alexa and wanted to speak to me about getting listed on their platform. They asked for 30-45 minutes of my time and me in front of a computer. When they called me, I found out they were NOT Amazon Alexa and were a third party that uses Amazon Alexa platform. It was a hard sales call. They would not allow me to say "no." Every time I said I wasn't interested, they had more questions for me about my practice and what my thought process was as to why I was saying "no." Then they would continue the sales pitch. I told them I had to go, that I was talking to them for 50 minutes and no longer had time to talk. The salesman continued his sales pitch. He disregarded my complaints that I felt pressured. He stated it was "his passion, not pressure." I seriously could not get this man off the phone. I eventually just hung up on him because he would stop talking. I would not do business with this company. They asked me for $1,000/month. When I said "no", they kept lowering the price and adding more services. I probably could have gotten their services for free if I stayed on the phone long enough. But I really wasn't interested in their services as I am for increased access for care- not more marketing for more business. I don't think they cared what I wanted- they just wanted to sign me up.
