DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE! I took my car there today for an exhaust diagnostic. The car was working fine, but there was the exhaust issue, it was loud. Now, 1 hour after picking up my car, it won't start. I called them immediately to report the issue, and of course, if I wanted to have it towed there they'd be happy to charge me another $160 to run more diagnostics to prove that they didn't cause my car to be completely non-functional. Huh? My car was fine, it spent 8 hours at this shop, and now it's completely useless. Coincidence? Maybe, but highly unlikely. I could go on about their complete lack of interest in providing even the basic level of customer service one would expect. Please don't take your vehicle there if you expect basic customer service, or to encounter a manager (Jerry) willing to take responsibility for their actions, or at minimum not try to charge you to prove they didn't cause a problem. Unbelievable. Mistakes happen, but to refuse to take responsibility or even entertain the idea that they might be responsible is NOT OK. I tried to be reasonable and give them the opportunity to help resolve the situation. They refused, and I'm left with the Better Business Bureau and online reviews to either prompt them to change their mind or at least cause a negative effect on their business as a result of the negative effect I am experiencing from taking my car there, which is that I don't have a car to get to work anymore. I'd give zero stars if I could, but one is the minimum to post a review.
