I understand that we are in a crisis and these are unprecedented times. We are all navigating uncharted water. That said, I am a necessary worker, and I know that anyone who is a necessary worker still needs hair care. This is not my first time to this salon, and have been satisfied with my experience up til today. Today I felt like I was being rushed through my processes once they knew I was a necessary worker. Management needs to survey their stylists and determine who feels comfortable providing services for a medical person or any other person on the front lines-/ that must be addressed and management should handle the issue. I get it, we all deal with fear differently. The salon has been closed 6 weeks. It would seem to me that the owners, management and line staff should have been groomed for “ the what to expect scenario.” I don’t think my stylist was mentally prepared for the day. I went home and had to cut my own bangs. That is not okay after spending $211.00 at that salon.
