SEDA is a terrible builder. They cut corners and look for the cheapest way to build. The owner is likely the rudest representative for a company I have spoke with. She is just unpleasant and doesn't care about her customers. Believe me I have dealt with her on more than one occasion and I never felt good about anything they told me. I think she should hand the reigns over to someone else. I am disgusted with management at this company. They hire staff that appear to have low skills and abilities in terms of new construction. They cover up defects in the home and try to rush you and put you in a corner with time constraints. Their contracts don't give buyers many rights in my opinion. This company lacks ETHICS. Warranty before and after the sale seems to be more of a formality as they don't really intend to fix much. If they can't repair with caulk and a paint brush they will refuse from my experience. When you buy something new you would expect a company to have pride and stand behind their product. Not SEDA. They try everything they can to run the other way. Run far away and use another builder if possible. I would actually recommend you buy a home that is 1-5 years old from an individual and bypass new construction with any builder if you can.
