I had my "NUVOH2O" since 2020 "BUT" on my last filter change April 2024 I changed the filter cartridge and cleaned the canister, replaced the filter, installed a "NEW" "O" RING and reassembled the canister to the main unit. Everything looked the same as when I disassembled the unit the three previous filter change times. ""BUT"" when I turned the water on it started leaking at the butt joint where the spanner nut holds up the filter cartridge and canister. I called "NUVOH2O" for technical support and talked to "SPENCER" and wanted to know if the two spare "O" rings that I had ordered with the last filter that I was installing now were the correct size for a "GEN-1 MANOR SYSTEM". After looking up my last order he told me they were. After I told him the story above he said he would send me a "GEN-2 MANOR SYSTEM" since this unit was still under warranty and I agreed to his generosity and in four days it arrived.... In the time after I hung up I took the system apart and dropped the canister enough to put the second "O" ring on top of the first and tightened the canister snug, turned the water on and waited to see if it would leak..... "NO LEAKS .... SO WHEN IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THE FILTER AGAIN IS WHEN I WILL INSTALL THE "GEN-2 MANOR SYSTEM. I decided to do this then because I would have to dismantel the "GEN-1" unit plumbing adapters and mounting plate and then reinstall the "GEN-2" which fits in a tight space between the gas water heater and wall mounted cabinents. This turned into a "CUSTOM INSTALL" due to where the pipes came out of the wall for a water softner install... Aside from being long winded; I DO APPRECIATE "SPENCER" AT "NUVOH2O" FOR HELPING ME OUT ON THIS ISSUE AND I DO BELIEVE "NUVOH2O" HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I EVER HAVE DEALT WITH ON THE PHONE... THANKS AGAIN "SPENCER" FOR YOUR TIME AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I INSTALL THE "GEN-2 MANOR SYSTEM" HAVE A GREAT DAY, ANTHONY LV,NV ... 4-11-2024 ========================
