My father passed away on May 8th and I honestly feel like Carnes has been holding his ashes hostage for the past month. I was naive and let a 'family friend' pay for his arrangements only to have that person cancel the payment a week later. It's been a month now and that 'family friend' has stolen my fathers belongings and drained his bank accounts. On top of this I'm also having to deal with Carnes Funeral Home refusing to contact me so that I can pay to obtain my fathers ashes. All I want is to put my father to rest with my 5 siblings. It's been hard enough. Why am I being made to fight for this? I understand my situation is unusual, but that's no excuse. Please give me my fathers remains so that my family can have some kind of closure. Take my damn money already I just want my dad!
