David S. Feldman
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon David S. Feldman, MD, brings more than three decades of experience in the treatment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal problems to his practice in West Palm Beach, Florida, serving patients throughout Palm Beach County. Dr. Feldman also travels to see patients in New York, New York, Warsaw, Poland and Israel.
Dr. Feldman is an internationally recognized orthopedic expert and world-renowned surgeon, who stands at the forefront of complex adult and pediatric orthopedic procedures and treatments. Not only does he treat patients in Florida, but also worldwide. Patients travel from all over the world to be in his care.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Feldman also serves as director of the Spinal Deformity Center and the Hip Pain Center at the world-renowned The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Dr. Feldman earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in The Bronx, New York. He subsequently completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City and a fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr. Feldman is an expert in the care of spinal deformities, such as scoliosis and kyphosis. He also treats patients suffering from complex conditions, including arthrogryposis, congenital limb deficiencies, congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia, dwarfism, lower limb deformities, neuromuscular disorders, foot deformities, and multiple hereditary exostoses. Dr. Feldman also treats hip pain in infancy and childhood as well as hip pain in adolescence and adulthood.
During the course of his career, Dr. Feldman pioneered the use of computer-assisted devices to develop and perform surgical techniques for the correction of limb deformities. He’s also developed unique treatments for Legg-Calve-Perthes disease and for the prevention of infections following spinal surgery.
Dr. Feldman relocated his practice to the The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in 2015. Since then, he’s expanded his services, providing care for both routine and complex medical conditions. At the The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute, Dr. Feldman offers treatment for some of the most complex orthopedic cases, including those previously believed to be untreatable. Dr. Feldman takes a holistic, integrative approach to treatment and offers safe, noninvasive techniques, such as tethering and treatment with the MAGEC® System by NuVasive.
When he isn’t meeting with patients, developing treatment plans, or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Feldman contributes to medical journals and presents on a variety of orthopedic topics from back pain and hip dysplasia to scoliosis.
