In June, I left my healthy 7 lb. Chihuahua at this facility while my husband and I went out of town. The 3rd day that we were gone, I received a call from the owner saying that she found him on the floor dead and that she didn't know what happened. Long story short, I had her take him to the nearest vet, who then called me saying that Nacho had a sudden heart attack and died. He and Amanda both kept wanting me to let them have him cremated for us since we were out of town. Like that was doing us a favor. I declined and had my niece pick Nacho up and take him to our vet to examine and give me a cause of death. When my niece picked up Nacho, she immediately noticed the cover over him had blood on it. She asked what happened, and Amanda said that he had been attacked by another dog. The cremation they offered would have covered up the truth and we would never have known any different! My vet confirmed that a much larger canine brutally attacked Nacho by crushing his torso, puncture wounds on both sides of his body damaged internal organs and bruising all over his body. He provided pics of the injuries and they are gut wrenching to look at. Later that night, my husband phoned Amanda and asked for the truth. By her own admission on a recorded call, She had let Nacho out of the kennel and had him on the floor with other dogs and her. Someone came in the front that she had to talk to, so she left them alone in the room..and when she came back, Nacho had already been attacked and was on the floor, lifeless. Reckless, negligence and pure stupidity on her part and our healthy baby was murdered because of it. The State of Tennessee does not regulate Groomers or Boarding Facilities. Your furbabies are only considered your property and not a member of your family, therefore, she is only responsible to pay us for out of pocket expenses that we may have, and the replacement value of Nacho. He can't be replaced!!! He was a priceless member of our family and we are devastated!!! This place is just a business... like all businesses, she is only after your money. Your pet and it's safety do not matter to her! Since this tragedy, others have come to me to tell their experience at this facility. None of these stories are good, and turns out, Nacho isn't the first victim here. Please, for the love and safety of your pet, stay away from Diggin the Doos! Please, Don't let Nacho's death be for nothing!

It pains me to write this review but felt like customers should know. We’ve been taking our dog for well over 2 years and have always been very happy with the work they provided. The last 2 times the grooming and bathing has been subpar. This last time in August, I paid for grooming, bath, teeth brushing, facial, and nail cut and grind. My dog was there less than 2 hours. His cut was horrible and had 2 places where they had cut him. His eats m were destroyed and I had to gone home and even trim them up myself. They even cut his fluffy tail down to nothing. His nails were not touched at all. And quite frankly, he stunk when got home. In the past, he would really smell nice for at least 2 weeks before his next visit, which is every 4 weeks. Diggin the Do’s work has increasing become worse. I mentioned this to them and the offered they would groom him again for free. I’m still wondering what I paid $65 for in August. I cannot recommend Diggin the Do’s if you care anything about your pet.
