I would have left a zero rating if possible!! If you're going in for a procedure where it is supposed to be covered as preventative care by your insurance, be aware of the fact that family health west FAILS to disclose to you that IF the procedure changes to a diagnostic process, then you will be paying for much of the procedure out of pocket. I went in for a procedure that I thought was covered, then found out I was billed over $2000.00 out of pocket!!!!!! In other words, the hospital doesn't have to tell you about potential out of pocket costs, but then bill you and say you're stuck... too bad for you!!!!! When I spoke with the billing department, they said that this has happened in the past, where patients are not told of potential costs, and that he would speak to the "administrators" about how the costs of procedures may be affected. He then handed me the bill back and told me i was stuck with to pay!!
