I don't have anything good to say about this clinic. Especially "DOCTOR" Steven Spencer. He's been a major disappointment, for me, from day one, for a few reasons. Your LUCKY to ever be able to reach somebodyat that office, with a phone call, WITHOUT having to leave a voicemail, and then waiting on a call back, in addition, they can't seem to ever remember what you said in your message! (what's the point of leaving a message about what you need!), and you're almost lucky to get a call back from them a day, maybe two, later, IF at ALL!
"Dr." Spencer seems rude a time I'm trying to talk, or when I'm trying to think of what I'm going to say, or how to word it properly, so he doesn't try to use it against me, like he likes to do. Like when I told him I get up around 11:00am, usually, when I go to bed around midnight, and he tried to tell me that I'm "getting too much sleep"! But what he didn't ask was what time I go to bed, and he didn't seem to be aware of the fact that I'm suffering from "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome", which should also be making me feel tired, but I feel too much anxiety during the day/night, and restlessness/tossing and turning, at night. I don't really get to finish my thoughts, before moving on to the next question, with "Dr." Steven Spencer. So least, I wanna say that he doesn't pay attention, for him to have the audacity to shovel words in my mouth!
I was having sleeping difficulties, and I asked "Dr." Steven Spencer to put me back on Klonopin, since I had I before, and it worked on me, for many things, and he told me "NO", and instead he put me on Zolpidem/Ambien, even though I told him I already tried Ambien, and I also told him that I tried Triazidone, Melatonin, Relaxium Sleep, and O.T.C. sleep aids, to no avail. The Zolpidem worked on me for a few months, then started working less for me. But after not taking it for about a month, I wanted him to prescribed me another bottle to try it again, and so I at LEAST have SOMETHING that worked on me, half assed, to get me through until my appointment on the 2/28/22, with a new primary care physician, for my poor sleeping capabilities... So "Doctor" Steven Spencer lied, and said that I said that Zolpidem "Did NOT work on me!", as if he meant at ALL! So he refused to let me try it again, even though some time had passed before I had tried them again, after trying other medications, that failed to work, to show him that It wasn't going to work, trying this medication for a few days, then this one for a few days, now try this one for a few more days, while days are passing by of me tossing and turning, being wide awake, laying down and staring at the ceiling, and my eyes keep popping open all night long, then staying awake all that day, into that next evening, and FINALLY starting to yawn uncontrollably, laying down for a little while, then finally falling asleep out of exhaustion, after taking me a while to settle down in my bed.
So, when I asked him to put me back on Klonopin, and that I took it before, and it helped immensely, in many ways, but mostly for SLEEP and anxiety/depression/anxiety & panic attacks. He refused to put me on Klonopin, and wants more payments out of me or my insurance company by me joining counselor sessions...
He refused to put me back on Zolpidem, and told me that, "I need to speek to my new doctor, (that I had been waiting to see for there last 2-3 weeks), about my sleep difficulties."
SOME "DOCTOR"!!! Won't even help me without seeing a shrink first, just so the shrink can prescribe me what I need. UH, that's NOT what a SHRINK is!!! A shrink deals with Psychological damage, trauma and pain. Sleep is NEITHER ONE of those!
