Funderburg Law is an Atlanta based boutique transactional law firm that focuses on entertainment law, business law and estate planning law. We bring excellence, professionalism, integrity, and humility to every issue presented. Our philosophy for success is providing individualized service, coupled with high quality work product, completed on time, and always with the client’s overall vision in mind. We are very passionate about everything we do, and we utilize that same passion to help our clients achieve their goals. At Funderburg Law, we root for the underdogs. Because of our love for the creatives and the indie scene, we work tirelessly to ensure our “indie” clients receive “major” quality services. Our firm has served as the legal production attorney for various independent films starring actors: Kevin Hart, Big Boy, Jameel Saleem, Deitrick Haddon, Robert Ri’chard, Barry Floyd, Golden Brooks, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Vanessa Bell Calloway, to name a few. We’ve negotiated deals with all of major record labels and many of their subsidiaries as well as small, mid-sized and large independent record labels and publishing companies. Our current client roster includes the “Savior of R&B” recording artist “Sammie”, Billboard ranked producers, as well as other artists, songwriters and talent. We also represent various types of small businesses, independent production companies, record labels and publishing companies. Because the entertainment industry and managing our client’s entertainment careers is a business in and of itself, it was only a matter of time before our practice expanded into the realm of business law. We assist various types of small businesses and creative entrepreneurs, applying some of the same principles we employ with our entertainment law clients. Our estate planning practice grew out of our founder’s love and care for her immediate family and the black community as a whole. We strive to dispel the myths associated with estate planning – the most common being that estate planning is reserved for the wealthy or the elderly. Our goal is to educate the community on the importance of estate planning, by making the necessary counsel and documentation available, regardless of income, education, age or familial status.
