Bought home 2 yrs ago and have been trying to get a structural defect completely fixed for that time. Scheduled for sheet rock repair due to leak around the window twice and no one showed up. The person I’m dealing with, Cory, does not seem interested in helping me get this fixed. Other than that I’m pretty satisfied with my home there’s been little things that needed to be repaired, but that was done in a timely manner.

STAY AWAY FROM GEHAN HOMES! This is the 3rd time I have to write a bad review for them. The first time was concerning their 11 month warranty, which took them almost 2 years to complete all the warranty issues. It was painful to have to remind them a few times a week for months to get our list of warranty items fixed, or to even get dates on when they would send contractors out. The second one was about the AC line location. According to code, the AC line is not supposed to be in the roof decking. As workers were getting our roof replaced due to the hail storm earlier this year, they accidentally hit the AC line with a nail. The AC repair was well over $800 and we have NOT heard back from anyone at Gehan homes. After a few days of leaving countless voicemails, and always with a chain of transfers, I posted here a few weeks ago. ---------- Gehan Homes responded asking for my contact information to look into this further. I promptly gave them the information they needed and to this day I have NOT heard back.

Hello, my wife and I just purchased our dream home. Well what we thought would be our dream home.  We purchased a home from GEHAN Home in Converse, TX yesterday.  We've been waiting over 7 months for the home to be built.  We have had so many problems with get the sales agent to call us back and update us on the building of our home.  The quality of work that Gehan home purchase into building this house is horrible.  We need help with getting the building to what was asked of them in the contact that we all have signed. I've in closed a few pictures and I also show plenty of txt message and emails from us trying to resolve these issues for weeks.  The builder put a shower bench in our master bathroom that we didn't ask for and its ugly and I asked the to take it out. And was told at first that cant take it out and then i was told if they take it out it will take 2 -3 week for the new glass to come in and that will hold up our closing. This building fired the Contractor Manger weeks before we was suppose to close on our home and we had no idea until my wife txted our sales person asking for a update on the build of our home. The builder and sales person have been very unprofessional. PLEASE HELP US!! We work very hard to be able to get into this home and its very devastating to not get any help from them. We would love for you all to come out and see for yourself.

Gehan is a very greedy home builder that doesn't value its customers. My husband and I signed paperwork to have a new home built in one of their communities. Our sales rep didn't spend anytime thoroughly walking us through the paperwork that we were signing. We spent all of about 3 hours with the sales rep and attended 1 design meeting and made the decision to back out of moving forward with our new build. We made this decision in less than 2 weeks after signing the paperwork so we didn't waste much of their time. We called the sales rep to cancel and he refused to give us our earnest money back. He says that no matter who we call the answer is no. This is the worst experience I ever had and will never use them in the future to build our home and I will never recommend them to anyone that I know. Poor customer service and very greedy!! We are currently in a sellers market and this builder has a waitlist so even if we didn't go forward with building the home they would've quickly gotten their money back. We have now started building a new home with another builder and have received superb customer service. Our rep thoroughly went through the paperwork that we were signing and also let us know that we would get our earnest money back at any stage throughout the process. We are also getting more bang for our buck! STAY AWAY FROM GREEDY GEHAN!
