I usually do not write reviews, unless the experience really stands out to me. I went here twice last year and had a great experience! I went again today for father's day, and the food really wasn't all that great.
Usually I'd just think "Oh well" and not go back, but when we decided to give some feedback to the general manager, all he could say was "I've been here 15 years, we're very busy every day because we do a good job."
Okay, cool. I don't really care how great of a job you do every day, I care about my personal experience. My food wasn't very satisfactory and I wanted you to know, just in case there could be some way you could fix this for future visits, or train your cooks to be better in the future. But all you keep repeating is "We do a good job here." That's exactly how you should show your customers that you care and appreciate the fact that they decide to pay you their money!
To top it all off, he told me "The best I can do is give you half off." Okay, that honestly makes it all fine. My original check was $42 and change. My new check was $32. When did half of 42 become ten dollars? Have you actually worked there for 15 years, or 15 days?
Will not be returning.
