Dr. Shane Clark is a board-certified optometrist treating patients of all ages at his practice, Infinity EyeCare, located in Rapid City, South Dakota. Dr. Clark offers eye care services, including comprehensive exams for contact lenses and eyeglasses -- including a unique selection of frames and lenses -- as well as treatment for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eyes. Patients also benefit from his specialized training in pediatric eye care, vision therapy and his commitment to offering emergency eye care services. Infinity EyeCare provides a family-friendly environment and maintains modern and up-to-date technology to meet all patients’ needs. Dr. Clark is a South Dakota native who earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, before serving his residency in family practice optometry. During his residency, Dr. Clark received extensive training and experience in managing ocular, or eye, diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye diseases including surgical treatment of cataracts. Dr. Clark has earned several advanced certifications in optometry and has been granted fellowship status by the American Academy of Optometry. He is board certified by the American Board of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Dakota Optometric Society. Dr. Clark wants to help his patients protect and preserve their vision and offers friendly, knowledgeable, and expert care. He is currently welcoming new patients to Infinity EyeCare. He accepts most major forms of insurance.
