The owner Jerry seemed friendly initially but when inspection failed on a gas line he installed and I asked him for the inspector’s number so I could understand what happened, he got super defensive and said he would tell me himself and that he wouldn’t give me the inspector’s info so that I couldn’t “harass his inspector.” This was all from left field being that I had no plans to harass anyone, and I was just trying to understand options and gather information. He could have nicely said I would rather you not talk to the inspector for now and I will give you all information needed but instead I was left with a bad taste in my mouth of his sudden Jekyll and Hyde switch in behavior. Initially he seemed friendly and helpful but then started saying stuff like I just need to get my portion done and collect the money, which tells you what he truly cares about. It’s not customer service, it’s getting jobs done to get paid. I would have loved to recommend and support this company but unfortunately I do not recommend hiring them because of the strangely antagonistic behavior by the owner and oh, did I also mention that while putting in the gas line his company accidentally cut my water pipe? No apology, didn’t tell me until I went in and found my house’s water turned off, and that’s when I got a, oops hit water pipe and now it’s repaired don’t worry water will be back on later.
When I hire for a project, I would like updates, demonstrations that the repair has been done, and good customer service. This company got the work done but was lacking in other areas so do not recommend. The one year warranty on his work is not transferrable either by the way.
I tried to ask for some photos of the job after the fact but Jerry said he had none and then told me not to talk to any of his employees. I told him that I was having difficulty communicating with him and that this would be a negative review for him, to which replied, “ok.” So much for customer service, their tagline. So there it is, the other plumbers on this project were nice, Rebecca was nice, Jerry the owner….. extremely not nice and not recommended. Jerry did not even show up to the job even once having just gotten surgery and was truly awful to work with.
