Jazzercise Tulsa South Fitness Center

Brenda Savage, the owner of South Tulsa Jazzercise is dishonest and unethical. On May 24th, I was diagnosed with mono, and called her to pause my membership for one month. She did this easily. On June 24th, I called and left a voicemail telling her I had decided not to renew my membership and to not charge my card on 7/1. On 7/1 my card was charged the full $109. Thinking this was made in error, I texted Brenda, who told me that cancellations were processed on the 15th of each month (never mentioned that in May!), and informed me I had paid for July and my membership would end of 7/31. The Jazzercise website specifically says that I can “Cancel Anytime” with no additional perimeters. Brenda easily stopped my payments 6 days before renewal in May, but deliberately chose to charge my credit card in June when I gave her 7 days’ notice. I texted back kindly asking her to refund me. She has since ignored me and refused to issue me a refund. I have filed charges against her through my credit card company. The sad thing is, I absolutely loved Jazzercise and had future plans to return. I work with a whole staff of just women and told all of them (even brought one to class) how amazing it was. Now, I will never set foot in there again and have already told numerous women not to go there because Brenda is not to be trusted with their money. LADIES BE AWARE: Brenda promotes herself as someone who loves women and wants to build them up, yet behind the scenes she backstabs them for her own financial gain. I will also be filing a complaint with corporate.
