Dr. Prather is a fantastic dentist and I had a great experience with the hygienists as well; however, this business is adept at deceiving clients regarding insurance coverage. I was led to believe that my insurance was in network, as it is listed as such on both the Prather website and my insurance website, but that was not the case. Office staff, especially Carrie, the “treatment coordinator” were unhelpful in addressing this and never informed me I was paying out of network. When confronted, politely, about this issue, Carrie was incredibly rude and treated me as the problem and blamed my insurance, who had confirmed to me they were in network. It is a shame the customer service was so terrible, because I would be happy to pay out of network prices for seeing Dr. Prather without the deception and rudeness of her office staff .
