I 'm Jaclen Milo-Waite. I am a life coach, fashion designer & consultant, event planner, author, mother of four (yes I now know what causes them), mother of a T1 Diabetic, married to an hunky husband and above all else a daughter of the most high. And in order to pull all that off on a daily basis I fuel up on Jesus, Starbucks & Boba Tea. When I am not focusing on my God given passions I love to spend time with my kids & hubby, shopping, spending time with my bible group and relaxing in my Pjs while binge watching Netflix.
So lets talk about those talents God has blessed me with. My first and foremost passion is fashion. I can remember being a little girl and drawing fashion sketches for my mom. Lets fast forward to college & I decided to get my degree in . . . Business (what happened to fashion you may be asking yourself, hold on we will get there). Besides that business degree equipped me with what I needed to learn how to run a successful business. Fast forward a few more years in my life after I earned that business degree, I am now with 4 kids, that hunky husband and still having that passion for fashion. I finally decided to chase my passion and go back to school for fashion (yay!). See both of those degrees where needed and have given me the perfect balance to help you start your successful fashion line.
So that brings me to my company. I am the CEO at Jaclen Milo-Waite Fashion & Event Consulting Services & Jaclen of all Trades (my brand & blog). At Jaclen Milo-Waite Fashion & Event Consulting Services I help people in the fashion world with any designing needs & how to successfully start up a clothing line. My goal is to teach you how to design a clothing brand that produces quality garments and accessories with clothing manufacturers in the USA or abroad. I have been successful in helping numerous companies launch their apparel lines. The other half of Jaclen Milo-Waite Fashion & Event Consulting Services deals with event planning. I got into this side of the business by coordinating fashion shows. I am great at designing and organizing so this came naturally. I have coordinated fashion shows, weddings, small parties and even large scale events. In fact I have even coordinated events for the Dalai Lama (yes the actual Dalai Lama y'all), A campaign event with Michelle Obama and Joe Biden and a fashion show for David Tutera. I understand what my clients vision is and have the expertise and resources to bring their "vision" to life.
With all my free time (lol) I have also decided to become an author. Well kind of. God placed on my heart to write a devotional journal. So, I did. I love to journal to God every morning as a form of worship and a way to bring all my prayers and worries together in one place to him. You can check it out here. And look for more to come. God loves to place a lot of things on my heart so I have few more books coming.
Lets tie this all in. As I mentioned before I’ve got four kids and whether I’m at home with them, working or both, my life is never calm nor balanced. So, I have learned to embrace the chaos around me. In fact, I don't seem like I am performing at my best unless I have a million things going on at once. The kids, housework, church, gardening, sports practices, volunteering at school, spreadsheets, meetings, parties to plan, along with a million other things that might overwhelm me. These are just a list of my many, many blessings, but this is how I thrive! Because I am able to handle so much and have been blessed by god with multiple talents I wanted to bring all of my passions and real life experiences all into once place.
