If I could give her zero stars, I would. Julia is very impressive for your first or second meeting, she talks a big talk and makes you think she is going to take good care of you. She has a really cute office in downtown Lee Summit. But it’s all a façade. She has college intern do your taxes, last year they called me with simple questions and it was so obvious they had no idea what they were doing ……they’ve probably never even filed their own tax return. I also referred her to a family member and last year she forgot to pay his quarterly taxes and his employee payroll last quarter. She’s trying to grow herself too big, make a lot of money and have interns do her job, and the service is suffering greatly for it. This year I have, of course, switched to a different CPA and I had to pay Julia $35 to have them email my last year’s tax return or I could go in for a copy for $50. (she omitted to put a copy of my last year’s tax return in my packet of information that was returned to me, then, when I tried to go on my online portal, it had been canceled because I had already told her I wasn’t using her this year) Her tax services cost twice as much as other very competent CPA’s around town. I normally don’t give bad reviews, but this time I had to… I don’t want other people to suffer what I have the past two years, Don’t waste your time or money. And if you notice she hasn’t received a five star review in three years from what I can tell. They’re all one star in 2023 ….again trying to grow too big and have interns do her job.
