I am so glad another attorney returned my phone call immediately after hanging up with Julia today. I am not sure what this woman's issue is, but I was calling for a consultation and hung up in tears and feeling helpless. I'm a single mom due to r*** and was looking for help getting my daughter a passport without notifying her father (who has never met her). This woman made me feel like I was exposing myself on a street corner, the way she spoke to me. Honestly, the lack of professionalism and sensitivity to the situation is absolutely unacceptable, especially in her field of work. Outside of the fact that Julia clearly needs some sensitivity and bias training, she was unknowledgeable in the laws she was aggressively "advising" me on. She literally went as far as telling me I was "endangering my child" by seeking a passport, and that there was no way around our issue. My new attorney already has the correct form emailed to me to solve our problem. Do not let this woman talk down to you. Spend your money elsewhere. I will be filing complaints everywhere I can after this conversation. No one should have to feel this way after consulting with an attorney.
