I bought a new 2021 Kendon Go Series single bike trailer and the ramp failed the first time I tried to load my Goldwing. Kendon suggested I upgrade the ramp to a "ride up" which cost an additional $400. The ride up ramp comes in 5 pieces which is a pain to assemble and take apart after the bike is loaded. I decided to buy their Go Series Dual Ride Up trailer in July 2021 to transport two of my bikes to a Georgia motorcycle roundup. What a bad decision that was! Their marketing picture is very misleading almost to the point of false advertising by showing two HD's loaded. I tried to load my show quality Valkyrie and my Goldwing and it was the beginning of a nightmare! First, there is not enough room to load the Goldwing on the dual trailer without breaking the trailer tail light or removing the highway peg. I did both. After getting the bikes loaded for my trip from New York to Georgia, traveling down I95 South, I hit a dip in the road and both wheels broke off at the rims, at the same time, with the lug nuts still attached! I watched the left wheel pass me at 65 mph, hit the center divider and bounce back across all three lanes to the right side of the Interstate as I pulled over in horror. Fortunately no other vehicles were involved or someone could have been killed!! I was stranded on 95 South for 13 hours until I bought two new steel rim wheels that the Maryland Vehicle Rescue Department installed. After speaking to the owner of Kendon Industries to give them an opportunity to address this incident, it became clear to me they were not interested in getting to the bottom of this without taking action. The owner was condensending, rude and suggested I sue his wheel manufacturer. I have file complaints with the NTSB and other agencies to investigate how this could possibly happen. Offered Kendon to refund my purchase of both trailers. The owner suggested I sell the Single Ride Up trailer which also has the same infamous chrome wheels. I cannot in good conscious sell anyone either of these trailers for fear they may have a similar experience or someone might get killed on the highway.
