Took a fly fishing trip with Kirk and Kevin - these guys are awesome and know their stuff! I thought I knew a ton about fly fishing and was already an expert, but I'm sure glad I got hooked up with these guys! Highly recommend - you'll learn a ton!

What a wonderful trip! I have lived in Colorado my whole life and have been fishing for a long time but I felt like I didn't know a thing (which was a great feeling). Kirk and Kevin showed me tricks and ways to fish I have never tried before and it was so cool. Everyone in our group caught fish and considering we had a very novice group that is a true testimant to Kirk's Fly Shop and their ability to share their vast knowledge. We were so blessed and very thankful, we will be back soon.

All around great experience - from the quality of the gear (waders and boots) to the techniques and skills Kirk himself taught me, I had the BEST time. It was my first time flyfishing and Kirk was so dedicated to teaching me the correct method to the trade. He did it so well that after showing me how to track and set at the correct time, I caught a beautiful rainbow fish on my second cast!! He was just as excited as I was! On the gear side: I spent all day in waist-deep water and I fully expected to have a least some water sneak in and get me wet, but the quality of gear they have provided for their customers was phenomenal! Bone dry at the end of the day and was kept warm the entire time! All around great experience and I highly recommend it for all stages of fishermen and women!

Kirk's Flyshop was the best thing I've done in Estes Park! The store has everything you could possibly need to go fishing. I did a guided trip with Kirk and Kevin, and the experience was unreal! We had a large group (10 of us) so I wasn't expecting to catch a ton of fish myself, but EVERYONE in the group caught fish! Kirk and Kevin did an amazing job coaching us, and I will definitely be going back soon!

Kirk and Kevin were great guides as they taught you the basics and then let you try it on your own. Their property was amazing and the fish were plentiful. I am already telling my friends and family about their shop and guided tours.
