Our washer broke and I ordered a washer and dryer from Home depot on October 2nd 2021.The delivery date was October 22nd.
On that day the Linn Star Transfer gave me a delivery window from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The truck came in front of our house at 7:00 PM (one hour late). The driver refused to deliver the appliances saying that “it is unsafe”. I don’t get it: it was not the first delivery for me and I have never heard anything like that before. The street was literally empty, the driveway as always was very good lit. For a professional driver to back up to our driveway would not be a problem.
So to me the driver simply refused to work, refused to deliver and install washer and dryer on Friday night.
After spending around two hours on the phone with multiple Linn Star Transfer associates next delivery date was scheduled on November 9th. After that I spent another hour waiting to talk to a supervisor. After talking to the supervisor (Teresa, L811971) re-delivery was scheduled on October 26th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On October 26th at 5:00 PM I got a phone call from the Linn Star Transfer that there would not be no delivery – the truck got broken! I don’t believe in such coincidences, it looks to me as even if they gave me October 26th as the delivery date they still planned to deliver on November 9th.
On October 26th I spent another couple of hours trying to understand what’s going on with my order. The associates were rude on the phone, did not listen to me, did not allow me to finish my words, declined my request to get her name and associate ID, declined my request to talk to a supervisor and on the top of that simply dropped the line on me!
After that so to speak “service” I cancelled the Home Depot order. Lowes were able to deliver washer and dryer in just two days after the order was placed with superb service.
This Linn Star Transfer Company should be closed, they do not act the way the professionals should act! Their reviews on Internet are only one star, should be zero but unfortunately it’s not an option. They not only don’t deliver, they also dent and brake the things they deal with. Even BBB has some complaints on them.
