The owner Ryan Livingston of Livingston Homes here in Grand Haven threatened me with slander and libel if I went to social media after we sent a punch list and received no response from anyone for 40 days, that was his only response to me. (I have photos, the threatening email response from him and am willing to let you see it all as well as tour our home to see it for yourself, no slander, no libel just plain old facts and pictures to back it up) Livingston homes didn't pull permits until months after starting and got caught, too bad it was after most of the demolition was covered up not allowing the inspector an opportunity to properly do his job. His excuses for unlevel floors and poor workmanship was always we have a 100 year old home?????? The reason folks remodel is to straighten things out and improve the home, not play cover up and hope the owner doesn't notice. The only time we got calls was for more money before the job was done right and the office staff was snotty and none empathetic which seems to be a culture set by Ryan. Do not get mixed up with this company, it has been a disappointment! We finally settled for $3,750 off the bill which wont cover 1/2 of the items to be addressed and even then they changed it at the last minute to a lessor amount. After months of asking we took what we could because Ryan refused to address not even one item on the punch list.
