At Louis Shanks, we're furniture people; 4 generations in fact. It's what we do. In fact, its all we've ever done. And we've gotten pretty good at it. But it really isn't just about finding the right furniture for our customers. We really do live to help families love where they live. Regardless of the size or expense of their home, the right furniture and home furnishings turns a house into a home. It sets the stage for your life's moments. We want our customers to build environments where they can enjoy their families, and live their most authentic lives.
We live by a few guiding principles to make sure we always stand behind this claim: Because of our offerings, our relationship with our customers, and our 4 generations as a family-owned and operated furnishings business, no one else is as uniquely qualified to do what we do as Louis Shanks.

1. We partner with our customers, with the shared goal and responsibility of helping them to build environments they will love.
2. We see these partnerships as long-term relationships. Our concern isn't the immediate sale. It's solving our customers' needs again and again, throughout their design journey.
3. Our depth of inventory and our knowledge of the latest fashions (as well as those of the past) ensure we carry the styles our customers love, whatever those styles may be.
4. All furnishings we carry will pass our own quality standards; If we wouldn't have it in our own homes, we shouldn't have it on the floor.
