Don’t be like me. Speak up before and during your haircut. This happened because I kept my mouth shut. It’s partially my fault. That said: There are reasons for why people rather not change their barber or stylist. It’s very difficult to find someone that listens to you and does what you ask in regard to your hair. Once overheard a female barbers/stylists talking about how she’ll do “WHATEVER she WANTS to a customers hair because what are they going to do about it?” This why I’m so particular with who I let touch my hair. I ended up in this Matador branch because I’ve not been able to match my barbers schedule. This new barber seemed to be a very nice person. But as a barber, FFFFFFFFF… I hate her right now. I can not describe the level of anger and hatred I’ve been feeling since the botched hair chopping. I tried letting it go, but every time I wash my hair or comb it, it reminds me of the experience. I tend to be quiet and avoid confrontation. I try to bring pictures to show what I want. For years now, I try to be very clear on what I want to avoid any issues. As soon as I sat down, I CLEARLY stated I was “GROWING OUT MY HAIR”. I simply wanted to clean the edges and sideburns, and the edges in the back. I also said in a clear tone, that I did NOT want a FADE, I did NOT want her to use clippers either. I was definitely NOT looking to cut my 1 year of hair growth progress off. Within seconds this person proceeded to take the F...ING clippers to the back of my head. BIIIIIIIT… WTF
