I was suffering from debilitating pain in my thigh, sciatic area and my low back for over 8 months and it left me unable to walk without assistance. It was very frustrating, because I had to use a wheelchair at church and a walker everywhere else. I tried various medications, physical therapy, and even chiropractors, without any relief. A friend of mine referred me to Olympic Spine after her husband had found relief here. It took me about 4 weeks of treatment to start to see long-lasting results. Now, after completing my treatment, I no longer have severe pain or a roller coaster of pain throughout my day. I no longer have to use a walker or wheel chair at church. I walk freely on my own and can participate more fully in leading worship on Sundays, as well as being able to make home and hospital calls again. When I was in pain, I had to give up many of my social activities, but now I can drive to Portland to see my grandsons and not feel pain. Also, I am finally able to have fun with my friends, instead of depending on them to come and help me with daily activities. I feel like my energy is higher and my spirit is brighter. Olympic Spine has given my life back to me, and I am deeply grateful.

I had what I called ?back attacks? twice a year that would send me to the hospital and they sent me home with pain killers. In 2012 I had a ?back attack? that kept me out of work for one month. Finally I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, herniated discs and stenosis. It was four months before I could go back to an eight hour work day. I?ve tried other treatments including physical therapy. I did all the exercises that were prescribed yet I still was in pain. I also tried other chiropractors. Every day my back was on fire, I learned to cope with the pain which made me cranky and depressed. Because of the constant pressure from stenosis by the end of the day I was completely beat down by the pain. I recently got in a car accident that exacerbated my pain. I came to Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy and I started to feel relief after my very first decompression treatment. I don?t think about my pain all the time now. My posture has improved. I can do laundry all day and not be wiped out. Before I would do one load and then I was down for the rest of the day. I?m looking forward to riding my bike again this spring. I?m thinking about doing yard work, I thought that I was done with that before my treatment at Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy. I was out of town for a week and a half and I felt like I had not seen my family while I was away. I feel like everyone cares here. The doctors take the time to figure out where the issues are each day; they don?t just provide the same treatment for everyone. This place is amazing! It has absolutely changed my life! If I could convince just one person to come in and get relief it would be worth it!

Since 2010 I?ve had pain in my right hip including sciatic pain that radiated down my entire right side. This was from years of being an umpire and traveling. Last December after officiating a basketball game my pain was so intense my wife had to put my socks on. I couldn?t walk very well, I was sure I would end up in a wheel chair. I have seen five or six other doctors including my general MD, Orthopedists, Neurologist and a Pain Management Specialist. I?ve been on pain medication for the last five years. My wife heard about Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy on the radio and encouraged me to give it a try. I hadn?t had success with the other doctors, so I was reluctant to try Olympic Spine. By the end of the first week I felt better. Now I can put my own socks on and walk normally! My wife and I even joined a gym! I?m back to traveling mostly pain free. I?ve been able to reduce my pain medication, which is huge. I?m able to work for longer periods of time, even squat to work with catchers. My wife is really excited that I listened to her suggestion to come to Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy. My brother and I are going to start playing racket ball and biking. I may even officiate baseball again. Everyone at Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy is friendly. I believe they are so successful because they attack the condition from so many directions, laser therapy, chiropractic care, physical rehab therapy and decompression therapy.

Both my husband and I completed a series of treatments. I was suffering incredible pain with both my knees and was nearly unable to cross a room even with the aid of a walker. My husband had sever neuropathy in both feet, legs and hands from prior chemotherapy treatments. After 12 weeks of treatments, my pain level is now less than it had been in over 20 years and I only need the aid of a walker if I plan to be shopping for an extended period of time. My husband's feet are better than they had been in over 8 years and he is sleeping much better. The entire staff at Olympic Spine is incredibly supportive and helpful. We were very happy with our entire experience and the results have been more than double any expectations we may have had. I would recommend Olympic Spine to anyone and have recommended them to my own extended family.

For almost two years I?ve had numbness in both feet. My feet felt ice cold, so cold it would wake me two to three times a night. If I stood up I would have to hang onto something for fear of falling. Sometimes, when I would fall it would result in injury. One afternoon, I saw an ad on TV from Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy. In the advertisement, Dr. Shelley was talking about treating peripheral neuropathy. Being a disabled vet, I contacted my primary care Dr. at the local clinic. I was told that I had peripheral neuropathy, and the VA had no treatment for that condition. I went to Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy, Dr. Shelley took me through a series of tests, and gave me treatment options. Now, after two to three weeks of treatment specifically designed for me, I no longer have a balance problem. My feet no longer wake me at night, and I can actually feel what I?m walking on! I have received excellent treatment from Dr. Shelley and his professional team. They all are wonderful to work with. They have helped me no longer feel helpless or hopeless, as I did before. I want to thank them for making my life better, if not extended. I?m in control again and have my life back! Larry G. Mountlake Terrace, WA

Before treating at Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy, I was having a lot of numbness and tingling in my feet and hands. They had a cold sensation and they felt like stumps when I tried to play golf and racquetball. My coordination and balance deteriorated to the point where I quit playing and just sat at home in my chair, depressed and discouraged. I started to lose sleep due to nerve spikes I would get in my feet, I felt like I was being stabbed with an ice pick! I saw a neurologist who said I had Peripheral Neuropathy due to my diabetes and he prescribed me medication, but it didn't help me very much. I learned about Dr. Shelley and Olympic Spine online and started treatment shortly after.it took about 6 weeks before I saw significant results, but it worked! Now I've reached 75% overall improvement in my condition! I am walking and standing for longer periods of time, doing yard work without pain or fatigue, and I have even started playing golf and racquetball again. The staff is outstanding! They really take a personal interest in me, my treatment, and my life. If your symptoms are anything like mine were, you need to get in here!

OSST has helped me in ways could never dream of being helped. I went in with an injury to my shoulder that caused me to have no mobility in my arm. Now, I am back to being able to do what I love. Not only did they help me fix my shoulder, the back pain I had been experiencing for the last 6 years is being decreased as well. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. The doctors allow you to be an active member in deciding your treatment plan, and every recommendation is taken into account. They have helped me gain my life back and now I'm feeling better than ever.

I can tell for sure that thanks to this place, more specifically thanks to the gifted hands of Dr. Shelley, I'm walking and working today. I'm so grateful, because 4 years ago, I was in such pain ,due to a damaged spine that it was hard for me to walk, At that time it looked like surgery would be the answer to my pain, but thanks to the knowledge and wisdom of Dr. Shelley, I didn't have to go through it and just with his hands at the adjustment and the decompression Therapy, wonderfully taken care by this extra nice lady, which name is hard for me to write, but easy to pronounce,( Blondie), today I'm walking with 80% less pain. I have to add that besides Dr. Shelley's expertise, his big big heart , kindness and compassion, have changed my life. I'm forever grateful to Olympic Spine and Sports Therapy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is suffering of any pain.
