Disrespectful & Horrible Customer Service: I writing this review after having been a loyal customer for 20 years. I recently traded in a vehicle and should have noticed the red flags when the sales pitch from the sales manager was about how awful the sales department was but now that he was taking over it was going to be much better and they would take care of their loyal customers. I traded in my vehicle, bought a vehicle they had on the lot and took it home. 9 days after the purchase I was installing a bike rack on the back and looked up to see that the rear spoiler was badly damaged. It is a black vehicle and the damage was to the bottom of the spoiler, so it was not easy to see. Thinking, I'm glad I caught that, I went in right away the next morning and showed the damage to the salesperson who had helped me. He took a photo and my number and told me the sales manager would call me. I did not get a call so I went back it. I was told the sales manager would come see me and to take a seat. The sales manager did not go look at the vehicle. He sat at his desk doing deal and making me wait until he had nothing better to do. Then he come over and proceeded to tell me that it was my problem. That it never could have been missed at the auction and that basically he would have noticed it immediately. He blew me off so quickly it made my head spin. Not satisfied I followed him back to his desk and asked him to at least look at it, as it is clear the damage is not new. He again refused to walk 100 feet to even attempt to appease an upset customer. I pointed out that they had forgotten to give me my plates when I did the trade in and he beat up the sales person. I argued my point a bit further as asked it maybe the person who detailed the vehicle was around as they surly would have seen the existing damage. He was not inclined to investigate at all and then told me the auction took over 40 photos and of the 100's of cars he has bought at auction, never even once had something like this been missed. I know this to not be true as dealers catch things that were missed at auction and get refunds on a regular basis. I asked if he could pull up the photos and although he said all he had to do was type in the VIN to get them, he claimed that when he did this there were no photos in this case. I pressed him further and he did give me his name and phone number and said he would get with IT and see if the photos could be found. I have made the owners of O'Meara Ford tens of thousands of dollars over the years. I was basically told I was lying or stupid for missing the damage. I own a business myself and after this experience, I honestly don't know how O'Meara stays in business. It was literally the worst customer experience I can think of...it was beyond not caring, it was dishonest and disrespectful. O'Meara Ford Collision Center repaired many of my cars, O'Meara Ford maintained my 3 Fords and got 100% of my business for 20 years, O'Meara Ford Sales just lost my business forever and the business won't get a penny from me any longer.
