Holly at one star investigation was completely misleading as to how the $500 authorization will not be charged until the investigation takes place. then at that point it is $85 an hour. Well the case was resolved and I asked why my card was charged the full amount when it was just an authorization. She said read the fine print in the contract and it was very vague and misleading. I felt as though she took advantage of a vulnerable situation because I was in the middle of a child custody case and was completely mis-lead as to how the process works. on line she advertises $0 money until the investigation starts and $65 and hour. That is a 100% false advertisement and know that she will charge the full $500 and not give it back. Even if she doesn't even leave the driveway. Even lawyers give back retainers.
I hired Onestar Investigations to follow my husband. I got nothing from Holly and her team but pictures of his car parked in his work garage. They lost him on a road when I really needed them to follow him. I was having to tell them where he was all the time. I would not recommend these people to anyone, there are pretty investigators out in the metroplex. $1800 for nothing!!!!! :(
