On August 13, 2022 my wife and I purchased a new bridal set to replace her 18y/o originals. We were in Lubbock at the time and found a ring she liked at the store there. We discussed the return policy with the salesperson and were told we had 30 days to return the rings.
My wife decided a week after that she really did not want this particular ring so we went to the Amarillo store (where we live) and discussed returning it there. At that time we were told that we could only exchange the ring for something else in the store. This is inconsistent with what the salesperson at the other store advised, but we decided to look at ring guards instead. Nothing interested her and it was decided we would look at what was on their website.
Today we went back to the Amarillo store to exchange for another ring and were informed we still had 10 days left to exchange the rings, but that we would have to exchange for something TWICE the value of the original purchase. WHAT?!? Are you kidding me or what? The original purchase was $3324 and now to exchange you're telling me I have to spend DOUBL that amount under your 30 return policy?
This company appears to make up their rules as they go. THIS IS INSANE!
This was our first and last purchase from Paramount Jewelers LLC.
