I booked an appointment as I was way over due for a deep clean. I called prior to the appointment to confirm my coverages as I have a PPO from MetLife. The nice gal left a phone message confirming a $25 annual deductible and that the insurance covers 80%. However, she also said they add [which is not covered by the insurance] an additional $42 per quadrant as an irrigation fee, so an extra $168 out of pocket after paying the 20%. I called another dentist in Warner Robbins that took me in right away and the total cost was the appoved pricing from MetLife, less the $25 deductible, and my 20% plus the deductible was only $214.40 out of pocket. Highly recommend Family Dental in Warner Robbins, GA. Both dental facilities are in-network for MetLife. Glad I called around and did not go to Providence Dental Spa. Just be sure to get costs from more than one dentist that are supposed to be in-network as apparently some gouge.
