Their letterhead reads in BOLD, MASTERS OF THE TRADES AND ARTS. Mike Jenks, the business owner brags about his mastery when he comes to estimate your job. Their work is mediocre at best, and horrible at worst.
Save yourself the time, money and aggravation, and skip over this company.
Instead of grout, they put silicone caulk in between ceramic tile (with a caulk gun) and when it got wet it washed away, leaving us with quite a mess. We are told that he cannot redo the grout until we have heat, 3 days of 60 degrees or more.
With the cold weather, water will now get in between the tiles and freeze, causing them to pop off. (This is the reason we had the tiles redone; 25 years later).
We requested a refund so we could have a capable contractor redo the botched job.
His last text to us was as follows: "I sent all your text to my attorney and he said that I have been more than forthright in this issue. Do what you want. You are not receiving a dollar back from me. You are unreasonable and hateful people in this affair and I pray for the soul of the next contractor you will hire."
Not only is he a horrendous tradesman, he is nasty. Did I mention that each of the jobs he did for us was substandard? He replaced the posts on the front porch and painted them. There are paint runs all over. The bathroom, instead of installing one wall panel, he bought a small one and put it on top of the other. They fall off constantly. And he never finished / sealed the oak strips under the french doors. He definitely knows nothing about aesthetics or good work, that is for sure!
