There are numerous radar machines on the highway I drive. I have never had one not register, ie. Scrambled. I have recurve one ticket using this device. I find that my other radar detectors that are of similar price do much better at reporting less false alarms. I will not purchase another Rocky Mountain until they can demonstrate that it can scramble a simple Ka band that is just on the side of the road.

Best device I have used. I bought the original and then the 2.0. Keep them in different cars and I have not had a ticket in 4 years since I began using this product. I rarely write a review but felt compelled to do so in this case.

I've been with RMR, since the early 90's. A SHP officer told me about the scrambling affect. I bought one and have used them ever since. I don't understand the negative press. The FCC randomly field test these units and determined that they function as advertised. This is military technology.

Odin doesn’t scramble radar or laser, doesn’t detect POP, has poor performance, falses to K and Ka, is detectable by the Spectre, and has a poorly designed app. It’s low end hardware and the company lies about its capabilities. I’ve tested 4 RMR models and none of them can scramble as advertised.

I have been using RMR'S scramblers for over 20 years now, I currently have to Judge and it's about 3 years old now so I have just ordered the Judge 2.0, it will be nice not to have all the false alarms due to new car electronics , oh one other thing, they do work, I travel 100 plus miles a day to work going through all kinds of speed traps the only time I have got a ticket since using RMR was due to me not responding to the detector going off out in the middle of nowhere at 4:00 am with the only sign of a car was about a mile ahead of me, he pulled over and turned all his lights off just over a hill and got me doing 15 over, so no false alarms will be great! Thanks! JMP

Back when I purchased rmr-c450 it was advertised with "We will upgrade your unit whenever we have a model change in the police radar/laser detection technology at no charge to you". included with the purchase of the unit. It is the main reason I decided on buying from them. It is false and a scam. I see they still advertise this but now there is a program you have to pay for. Don't waste your money.

I have been using their units since the 90’s with great success seeing the products evolve to what they offer today, customer service is alway prompt & courteous making the transaction easy never negative. The first time I called late in the evening and to my surprise the owner answered the phone, which he took the time to hear me out and what I was looking to stop Pops with his heave foot.

Poor product, the scrambled will only get you a ticket for going faster then your traveling, but the Company Representative said it was a dishonest officer. KY State Police. The scrambled was not wrong.
