Sapphire Mobile Hotspot

Spotty reception. Constantly drops. Stationed in Poland and Germany; barely worked well enough to make calls on wifi apps (Signal, etc). Forget video messaging, gaming, or streaming. "Travel with confidence" they say. Had the service go out on me when I was in the middle of a strange town in Germany. Luckily I was able to find a free public wifi spot. Plans are way too expensive. Play is a much better option in Poland. Still looking for one in Germany. Overall, garbage system that is way too expensive and could leave you stranded somewhere.

I really wanted to like my Sapphire MiFi, the concept is great, wifi anywhere, and for a reasonable price. The device itself is very high quality and has great battery life. The service you get however is terrible. I have tried it in major cities, Orlando, Houston, Little Rock, and smaller cities and while occasionally I get down load speeds of 20mbps, over 80% of the time even with good cell service it is less than 1mbps. It makes no sense as my phone get great cel service in the same areas and download speed of 4G, this thing has never done 3g. There service is completely terrible. I want to love this as I travel but I have sent e-mails to customer service and have NEVER received a response..... Don't buy this until they fix their issues.
