Worst Customer Service I have ever received. This company is a joke, can't even live up to their word that was given. Moving from CA. to TX., was looking for a smooth move with a reasonable delivery window. I have moved long distance a few other times and have never had any issues like these. I called and spoke with Bobby Nazari and explained to him what I needed. He was very helpful and had told me that if I have my stuff picked up between 11/10-11/12, the delivery would happen within 5-10 days after pickup. He assured me that this is a route (CA-TX) the company travels often and that a quick delivery would not be a problem. Movers showed up on the 11/12, loaded my stuff, they were nice/professional. November 24, Wednesday I call Jesse Heeber, the Ops Mgr. I ask him for a time when my stuff would be delivered since it was nearing the 10 day window. He told me that my stuff is still in CA, that days on the contract are actually business days and that puts my move to be delivered sometime in December, usually within 14 business days. Yesterday was business day 14 so I reached out to Jesse and silence is all I get. I reached back out to my salesperson, who when selling me the contract was over the top helpful, and he TEXTED me to contact Jesse (again no one at this company seems to know how to use a phone)...When I explained to him that I had already tried that route and would appreciate any help from him, he goes silent. I didn't hesitate to pay up to use these movers based on the sales pitch that was given to about the quick turnaround for delivery. I also had my car shipped (from a different company) and that arrived within a week, so I ask why can't my belongings happen in the same amount of time. I am now beginning to realize that the sales pitch was just being used to close the deal and once they get your items you are at their mercy as to when they will be delivered. Anytime I call I get directed to an operator, who is pleasant, but cannot help me in anyway except to say my message will be passed on to someone??? Every time I call and ask to speak to a MGR or Supervisor, I just get the run around and brush off or they tell me to go through Jesse Heeber. Which is obviously not working. No one at this company wants to help me resolve my issue, everyone wants to pass the buck and the buck ultimately stops at Jesse Heeber's desk and won't be escalated any further. I never get a call from a live person, only a generic email stating I will receive a call 24 hours prior to delivery. I was originally going to get a U HAUL truck and move everything myself but after speaking with Bobby Nazari, I trusted and had faith that Shleppers would do an honest job. BOY, was I wrong. Final comment: I received my items on day 37 and of course more surprises came along with the drop off. The driver who was to deliver the items began the conversation right away with “you know we will have to get a shuttle truck which will be $400 more and then there will probably a long haul charge”. I tried to contact Jesse and of course no answer. He did finally email me stating that it is common to have these charges added on to the delivery which then I asked why my salesperson (Booby) didn’t explain that in his sales pitch. Also interesting that the payment was made by sending it through Zelle directly to the driver which he claimed he did not receive any of that money??? Please do your research extensively, ask lots of questions and get your answers in writing, and read the fine print because chances are the charges listed there will probably be added on to your bill. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will never recommend this company; this company is the worst when it comes to customer service. This company is a joke, I would stay far away from this company. Please do extensive research before contracting with this company, especially if you are doing a long distance move.
