I met with NP Melissa Cardinal and felt extremely uncomfortable for our entire meeting. I asked a lot of questions and she seemed annoyed and gave short, presumptive responses. At one point, I told her I was seeing a therapist twice a week and her response was “clearly you have a lot of issues”, which is terrible bedside manner. The most frustrating part of the experience was that she made a mistake on my prescription and then they refused to correct it until I had seen her again. Because of the mistake, I ran out of my medicine before the meeting and they refused to provide me a bridge prescription until our appointment. Because of this, I’m currently dealing with withdraw symptoms, which they should know are very common for my medication and are extremely uncomfortable (insomnia, heightened anxiety, etc). Then when I logged in for our 3pm (remote) appointment I received an out of office message and had to call in to be told that she was actually out sick and to reschedule the appointment. Their communications are also very confusing as they use an app, text and email and so you don’t have a full thread of the conversation and it’s very confusing where to expect communications.

After paying for the initial $300 evaluation they told me that they're ONLY able to manage people who have depression. If you have other issues, they may not be able to treat you. I even called before the session to know what to expect for fees and frequencies of visits. In addition, the frequencies of visits are DOUBLE what than what I was told when I called BEFORE my visit. They ARE NOT SETUP FOR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT and are NOT COMFORTABLE TREATING issues outside of depression, not even co-occurring conditions. Providers were unfamiliar with common medications and did not have a professional virtual experience.
